- After receiving his medical degree from Çukurova University, he completed his internal medicine specialization at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital and then his endocrinology and metabolism specialization at Istanbul University.
- He served as the secretary of the Osteoporosis and Other Metabolic Bone Diseases Working Group of the Turkish Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism between 2015-2017 and as the secretary of the Thyroid Working Group between 2019-2021.
- He served as an associate editor of the Journal of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine for nearly four years and has been serving as editor since 2021.
- He has participated as principal and co-investigator in many clinical trials, including those supported by the European Union, TUBITAK and TUSEB.
- Since May 2023, he has been the Vice President of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Society of Turkey.
- He is a member of the European Society of Endocrinology and Endosociety.
